Being disciples in the kingdom means we will be planting, nurturing, and harvesting seeds of truth. There is the temptation to believe that if newcomers to the faith don’t engage the discipleship track in the same fashion and timeline that we did, they are doing it incorrectly and are doomed to fail. We must learn to understand that God accommodates all the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of humankind. Not everyone learns, comes to believe, or jumps into action in the same manner or timeline.
Our job as kingdom people is to persistently plant, nurture, and harvest the seeds of truth every day of our lives. We are not about results; the results are between God and humanity. We aim to spread seeds of truth, and the truth has the power to set us free. Once exposed to the truth of God, our lives are never the same. The truth will pull on us, challenge our character and influence our decisions for the rest of our lives. Our chief responsibility is to deliver an adequate demonstration of the truth; the rest is up to God.
