Exercise The Soul

February 1, 2021 By Harold Long Leave a Comment

Your being is made up of your body, soul, and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Your soul is made up of your mind, emotions, and will. Your mind is not your brain; your brain is simply the vehicle the mind uses to function, similar to how you use your vehicle to go from point A to point B.

If you learn to exercise your soul spiritually, you will never grow old. Your body will age, but your soul will be young, refreshed, and full of joy like that of a child. You need to take care of all three areas of your being, the body, soul, and spirit. 2021 is the year to make that happen, so surrender, pray, and ask for the courage to make all the necessary changes that will make a big difference in how your life turns out.

My Creator, I desire today to surrender my body, mind, and soul over to You. Please give me the courage to take the necessary action to move my entire being in line with Your will for my life. Cleanse my soul from the toxicity that generates fear, anger, loneliness, depression, anxiety, and despair. In Your Spirit and Name, I pray these things. Amen.
