Choose Hope Not Fear

“May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.” ~ Nelson Mandela

2020 has been a test of who we are as individuals and as a society. People of faith were tested on whether they believed in a God of abundance or the fear of scarcity. We make choices based on what we believe. Lord, help me choose wisely and trust in your promises and hope for tomorrow.

Faith is sure of what we hope for and certain of what we don’t see (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is hope in action. Because of his hope, Nelson Mandela’s faith helped him survive the many trials he would face as he pushed for equality and reconciliation for his country. Father God, grant me the strength to choose hope over fear for the actions I choose to take today.

In Love and Service,

HALO
