Can or Can’t?

February 15, 2021 By Harold Long Leave a Comment

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” ~ Henry Ford

Never let what you can’t do get in the way of what you can do. Who knows how many times throughout your life you gave up or never got started because of self-doubt. Your ego got the best of you. When you quit or never get started, then “I can’t” wins again. We all have different gifts and abilities, and we are all part of the same global body. God uniquely created each of us for God’s eternal purpose. There has never been anyone like you in the past, present, or future. You can do anything you set your mind to, especially if what you desire to do aligns with God’s will.

What can you do starting today to make a BIG difference in the world? What will you do? Is an even better question! Let me encourage you to toss the attitude “I CAN’T” into the trash and adopt an “I CAN” and “I WIll” attitude. It will make a BIG difference in how your life turns out, and God will bless many people through your commitment and efforts.

Lord, I know all things are possible inside the spiritual realm. Please remove from me this pessimism that has wreaked havoc on my attitude for my entire life. Please grant me the ability to toss aside this “I CAN’T” attitude and replace it with an “I CAN & I WILL” with Your help attitude. In Your Spirit and Name, I pray these things. May Your will and not mine be done now and forever. Amen.
