2021 What’s Next?

2021 What’s Next?

Happy New Year! What a year it was due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, which caused a worldwide pandemic. A lot of fatigue, uncertainty, political divide, social unrest, and discouragement carry over in 2021. How do you plan and set goals amid the carryover of this nasty virus? Lord, please remove the fear and discouragement that plague my heart. Inspire my soul in a way that I can view this new year with contagious optimism.

The ability to develop new habits for a better life requires subtraction more than addition. What needs to be removed from your life for you to make real progress in 2021? What negative behavior needs to change? How will you invite others into your life to help you succeed? What resentments, fears, and unreasonable expectations of others need to be uncovered, discovered, and discarded? Who do you need to make amends with that you have been avoiding for way too long? God, only You can remove the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that have me stuck and discouraged. Please remove the character flaws that hold me back from becoming the person You created me to be so that 2021 is a year where real change becomes a reality.
